Church of St. Martin

Built on the foundations of a Roman estate, the first building probably dates back to the 7th/8th century. The church was first mentioned in writing in 1294. It grew gradually over the centuries, with the extension of 1708 defining the style. It was the Baroque period; the exterior of St. Martin's Church in Egerkingen is simple, but the interior has decorative details. The church with the Käsbissenturm tower characterizes the village.
